Random Acts of Kindness

The Miss Wales finalists celebrated St David’s Day by doing a series of random acts of kindness around Wales. We were moved by the efforts they went to: donating blankets to the homeless; fixing their neighbours boilers; baking welshcakes for the local community; checking the lifestock on farms in the freezing conditions, taking hampers of goodies to children’s wards; and making gifts for women in sheltered accommodation having fleed domestic violence. Paula Abbandonato, director, of Miss Wales, said: “I was very moved by the girls efforts. As a rule, the Miss Wales contestants have a can do attitude and this has never been more apparent than today.”
