Home from home

Sara teamed up with Wales' leading housebuilder, Redrow, to launch three new developments in one day in July. She travelled from her home in Port Talbot to Maes Ddraenen Wen in Carmarthen; and then on to to Parc Dan y Bryn in Tonyrefail and Caradog Parc in Aberdare. And from what we can see, both Sara and the homes look gorgeous!

Tanned for Miss World

Tanning giant Su-do Professional has launched a new retail range to compliment its salon professional collection - and our gorgeous Miss Wales was the first to try it out. Sara used the Su-do retail range of products to keep her tan topped-up while she is away at the Miss World competition. Gayle Harper provided Sara with her tan to arrive at the 61st Miss World in London and also gave her a gift box full of the new retail range. Sara said: “Competing against women from more than 100 countries across the world, it is important that I look my best and feel my best. I have been a big fan of Sudo since being introduced to it after winning Miss Wales in July. The new retail range couldn’t have been launched at a better time for me as it’s ideal to take to Miss World.” Gayle added: “Our new products are great for Sara who needs a beauty and tanning routine so that she can maintain a natural looking and flawless bronzed glow when she’s on the move with such a hectic schedule, without the need to visit a salon.” Only available from accredited Su-do Professional salons, the new line of products allows customers to prepare their skin for a flawless sunless tan as well as top-up their tan between salon visits. It includes an exfoliating Face and Body Scrub, Triple Action Moisturiser, Cream Tan, Gel Tan and a Gradual Tan.

Taking time out to care

Amidst the chaos of preparing for Miss World, the biggest experience of her life, Sara took time to visit the residents of Cartref Annwyl Fan Care Home in Bettws. The bilingual home for the elderly was delighted to welcome Welsh speaking Sara in for afternoon tea. All concerned had such a wonderful time that she's already been invited back for other special occasions.

Sara sandwiched on Times Square

As well as being Miss Wales and a full time student, Sara holds down a part time job at Subway in Swansea. The Subway PR machine was so thrilled to have a beauty queen among them, that they managed to display images of our lovely Miss Wales on Times Square, New York, during rush hour. We're delighted to see our girl up in lights state side!
