Hannah Williams
Hannah wins Miss Wales 2017!
Hannah is a graduate of Cardiff University. She studied Business Management and graduated in 2014 with a 2:1. She works at Sony’s plant in Pencoed as an assistant sourcing manager and is responsible for buying electronic components worldwide for HD professional broadcasting cameras. She is also one of Sony’s STEM ambassadors – an initiative to encourage girls to go for a career in science, technology, engineering and maths. Her ambition is to rise amongst the ranks in Sony to executive level.

Awards night
Hannah enjoyed a humbling evening at the Local Hero Awards hosted by Bridge FM. She said: “I have been truly touched by the stories, the spirit and what the deserving winners have overcome. It was a pleasure to support handing out the awards to those individuals who make such a difference and contribute to our community.”
It's a dog's life!
Hannah was invited for a special visit to Dog’s Trust in Bridgend to see the amazing work they do! We were inspired by their love for the dogs – we loved them all too!Picture perfect!

Modelling for Cardiff Fashion Week
Hannah enjoyed a day in front of the camera to launch Cardiff Fashion Week’s Dolled Up Days with Ty Hafan. The event encouraged people to dress up at work and raise money for the charity in celebration of Wales’s leading fashion celebration.Miss Wales Wedge Walk

Hannah enjoyed a special dinner where she received best wishes from Warren Gatland, OBE as she embarks on her journey to Miss World in China.
A couture gown for Miss World
Hannah met with Amy Mair Couture for her Miss World Welsh designer final dress fitting. Amy has created a bespoke dress which will be entered in Miss World for a chance to win the Miss World Designer Dress Award.
Hannah's Beauty With A Purpose tour
Hannah spent her days before jetting off to the Miss World final visiting charities across Wales distributing the thousands of pounds raised by the Miss Wales 2017 finalists as part of their 2017 fundraising campaign for Beauty With A Purpose. Recipients are Hope House, a hospice for children in North Wales; the Noah’s Ark Tiny Lives Appeal; Y Bont in Bridgend and the children’s ward at the Princess Hospital of Wales in Bridgend.What a send off!
Friends and family of Hannah’s organised a surprise party for Hannah to wish her well at Miss World! It was a great night at our sponsors Giovanni’s Restaurants in Cardiff.
The Miss World experience
Hannah enjoyed the most amazing experience at Miss World 2017 in China! Four weeks of special events including sports challenges, charity appearances, modelling opportunities, sightseeing, VIP dinners as well of course of creating memories and making friends for life.A VIP guest at inspiring awards
On her return from Miss World, Hannah had the very pleasurable task of being a VIP at the Bridge FM Young Achiever Awards. Here she presented awards to exceptional and inspiring young people in her local community of Bridgend.
Celebrating International Women's Day
The Miss Wales organisation sponsored a trip to the theatre on International Women’s Day for Hannah and the Miss Wales 2018 finalists. The girls watch ‘Not Yet Suffragette’ an award-winning play by former Miss England contestant – and staunch feminist – Natalie Cutler. Paula Abbandonato, Miss Wales director, said: “It’s important that from a young age girls value and support their sisters. International Women’s Day gives us an opportunity to reflect and do just that.”
